Kevin Collins

Kevin Collins studied under Stanley Pinker, Helmut Starke and Cecil Skotness at Michaelis, UCT in the late seventies with painting as his specialization. These men formed the basis of how he uses colour, composition and actually lay the paint down. Oil on canvas is the medium he uses as its final product give him a sense of work, subtlety of colour and surface texture which is not possible in other mediums. Read more
