Born in 1996 in Johannesburg, South Africa, Yedidya began painting at age 14 at the Ricky Burnett Art School. In 2014, he matriculated from the Torah Academy High School. The following year, he participated in the “Art Jerusalem” gap year program, studying at the Betzalel School of Art (painting, sculpture, drawing.) and, at the same time, studying Philosophy Through Film at the Hebrew University.
Yedidya returned to South Africa in 2016 and began studying Fine Arts at the University of Johannesburg. In 2018, he had his first solo exhibition titled “Scenes of the House”, curated by Ricky Burnett and exhibited at the gallery space of Ricky Burnett Art Studio. Yedida traveled to the United States to paint a series of murals in New York and Florida in 2020. He collaborated with Pop Art Rabbi Yitzchak Moully; five murals were painted in Brooklyn, NY, and one mural in Fort Lauderdale. In 2022, he had his second solo exhibition, Flowers and Almonds, which he both independently curated and organized.
